2024

The 2nd Western Wake Children's Business Fair was held on October 19, 2024 at Thomas Brooks Park in Cary, North Carolina. It was a one-day marketplace that allows children to showcase their businesses and inspires them to discover their inner entrepreneurs.

This year, we received an overwhelming 96 business booth applications, and after careful consideration, we selected 61 booths representing 214 young entrepreneurs.

Each booth was a testament to the creativity, determination, and entrepreneurial spirit of these talented children.

​

The park was filled with a large, enthusiastic crowd, and it was heartwarming to see so many supportive faces - from families and friends to community members - coming together to encourage the young entrepreneurs.

We are so grateful for the hard work, imagination, and courage that each child poured into preparing their products and services. Watching all of their ideas come to life and seeing the booths in action was remarkable.

To all the young entrepreneurs: you should be very proud of yourselves. Your efforts, passion, and professionalism made this event a huge success.
