Fundraising

To sustain the fair and keep it accessible to all young entrepreneurs, the WWCBF team has made fundraising a priority.

While the event is fully volunteer-run, funding is necessary to cover costs like tents, tables, venue rentals, promotional materials and event supplies.

To meet these needs, the team reached out to a wide variety of children’s service providers - including pediatricians, dentists, eye doctors, summer camps, and kids' sports programs, and many of whom share the goal of uplifting youth in the community.

The team also built lasting partnerships with nonprofits, the Town of Cary, the Cary Chamber of Commerce, and other civic organizations that value youth empowerment.

These efforts resulted in generous sponsorships and donations that made each year's fair possible.

Beyond financial support, the process helped build stronger community ties for developing future leaders through entrepreneurship.
