The 3rd Western Wake Children’s Business Fair was held on November 8, 2025, at Thomas Brooks Park in Cary, North Carolina. This year’s fair featured 49 booths led by 167 young entrepreneurs, each one showcasing remarkable creativity, effort, and entrepreneurial spirit.

 

Young entrepreneurs offered many beloved classics - baked goods, jewelry, keychains, bracelets, handmade soaps, natural floral ornaments, scented candles, crochet dolls, yarn crafts, hand-painted postcards, decorated flower pots, and original art pieces. This year also brought an exciting wave of new, innovative products that blended technology, imagination, and thoughtful reflections on society and the future. Highlights included:

• Confidence App for Kids – A game-based tool to help children practice courage and self-expression

• DIY Fig Tree Kit & Microgreens – Hands-on products combining natural science with healthy living

• Children’s Cybersecurity Chapter Book – Introducing cybersecurity concepts through engaging storytelling

• MediClip – A creative, portable health clip designed with everyday usefulness in mind

• Upcycled Fabric & Jewelry – Turning recycled materials into art while promoting environmental awareness

 

Watching the young entrepreneurs' creativity come to life - and seeing their businesses thrive - was truly inspiring.
